I do not see it taking off well myself, but counting the pre order numbers I just might be wrong. I'm not going to trash the conceptyet. Lets give everybody some time to actually get hands on with the device and see how they like it. I can say that if anyone bought it for a portable laptop they will be disappointed. . My first impressions of the iPad are totally positive, the iPad whizzes along, you can open applications, resizing web pages, and zooming in and out of maps almost instantaneously. I´m still waiting to test more, but the first tests are amazing.
