The Company

Smush was formed in 2009 by James Sarjeant and Lara Avcu. Based in Dover, Kent, we develop websites for businesses, clubs and organisations based in the UK. We aim to create sleek, stylish and fun websites which work well to promote all types of organisations in the area. In our spare time we develop software and web based applications to enable users to be more productive in their day to day lives by making simple tasks easier.

The Developers

Lara Avcu
Director & Head of Design

Lara is the co-founder of Smush. She has a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Kent and uses these skills to contribute to projects undertaken by Smush. She also uses her skills in project management to ensure smooth projects and high standards.

Lara is bi-lingual in Turkish and English and a natural with colours and design.
